Refund and Returns Policy

Last updated: October 6, 2026.

A return runs the route backwards. It goes from your home to the Blythewood office, and never to China. This page walks that trip stop by stop and says who pays at each one.

Still in the box, inside 30 days

The clock starts at the delivery scan. 30 days. Not 29, not 31. Inside those 30 days any item sold here may come back for a refund, whatever the reason, provided it is in the state below.

  • Window: 30 days from the delivery scan.
  • State: unused, clean, every accessory present, in the original box. A lamp switched on once to see the glow still counts as unused; so does a grinder lifted out and looked at.
  • Opened packaging is fine. Shredded packaging is not.

A short list cannot come back, because nobody could use those things after you.

  • A clipper blade, a grinding head or a brush that has touched a pet.
  • A fountain or a feeder with water or food left inside.
  • A light that has been screwed, glued or drilled into place.
  • A consumable with its seal broken: a filter, a grinding band, a spare bulb.
  • An item with damage you caused. A drop, a chew, a dishwasher cycle.

No clearance rack exists on this site and no gift card does either, so nothing is shut out on those grounds.

At your desk, writing to us

Every return begins with an authorization. Ask for it first. Ask in 1 of 2 places.

  • The support email, with the order number plus the item name.
  • The message page, with the same 2 facts.

Within 1 business day you receive a reference number, the office address, and 14 days to hand the parcel to USPS. We ask why in a line or 2. The answer settles the postage, and it points us at the product page that needs a sharper photo or a plainer sentence. It has no say in whether the return goes through.

On the road back to Blythewood

The parcel goes to the office address in the authorization, which matches the address under this page. Not to a partner. Not to China. A parcel mailed anywhere else is refunded only once it finally reaches the office.

  • Carrier: USPS, with tracking. Keep the receipt. The money lands later.
  • Changed your mind: postage is yours, and the $6.49 paid on the original order stays paid. An order that shipped at $0 has nothing to deduct.
  • Faulty, wrong, damaged in transit, or unlike its page: we email a prepaid USPS label, and the original shipping is returned along with the item price.
  • Pack it the way it came. Lamp in its foam, blade in its guard, cables coiled.

When the fault is on our side

4 situations. Each is its own case. In all 4 the postage is ours and the pick is yours: a new unit, or your money.

Broken or dead on arrival

Within 7 days of delivery, email 2 pictures to support, 1 of the item and 1 of the carton. A grinder that will not spin, a cracked lamp base, a fountain pump that stays silent: all 3 live here. The new unit ships without waiting for the old one, and the old one stays put at your place unless we ask for it.

A different item in the box

A seat cover ordered, a sconce delivered. Write within 7 days with a picture of the packing label beside the item. The right one goes out at our cost, with a prepaid label for the stray.

Not the item the page described

Not the same case as the stray above. The right item came, yet the color, the size, the capacity or a listed feature differs from the product page. Write within 7 days with a picture held up to the page. Our postage, a full refund or a new unit, and the page is corrected within the week.

A fault inside 90 days

A battery that stops holding a charge. A motor that quits. A switch that dies. A fault like that, showing up after the 30 days but within 90 days of delivery, is covered. Email a short video or 2 pictures of it. You get a replacement, or the item price back when the replacement is sold out, and the faulty unit is rarely asked for. Outside the cover: consumables, pet damage, water damage, drops.

When the parcel never arrived, or came back

2 cases. Neither one costs you anything.

  • Never arrived: 48 hours after a delivered scan that left nothing on the step, or 7 business days without a fresh scan, write to us. USPS opens a trace for us within 1 business day, and whatever the trace fails to find is sent again or refunded, every cent. The Shipping Policy keeps the same clock.
  • Refused or undeliverable: a parcel you turned away, or one USPS could not deliver, rides back to Blythewood on its own. The item price is refunded within 5 business days of its arrival, and the $6.49 is refunded as well whenever the failed delivery came from our label.

At the refund desk

The returned parcel is opened the day it reaches the office, or the next business day, and every accessory on the list is counted before anything is refunded, which is the one step we never skip. 2 minutes, most days.

  • Restocking fee: $0. Every return.
  • Refund: within 5 business days of the parcel's arrival, to the same card or PayPal account.
  • The bank or PayPal then needs 3 to 10 business days to show it on your side. That wait belongs to them.
  • An exchange is 2 transactions, the return above and a fresh order whenever you like. The fresh order carries its own shipping line and its own 30 days.

Cancelling inside 12 hours

An order cancels by email within 12 hours of being placed, with a full refund on the same 5-business-day clock. Past 12 hours the partner may already have packed it, and the order then follows the 30-day return path above, postage yours.
